Martin Nathanael began to appreciate the world’s philosophies as a young adult. A direct mystical awakening led him to work as a priest.
More recently, he has been teaching meditation and leading courses and workshops on various aspects of inner transformation.
His varied career took him into secondary education, where he served as Head of Religious Studies in two London schools, teaching world religions to A Level. Between 2004 and 2008, he assisted in training interfaith ministers as a tutor at The Interfaith Seminary UK.
He now focuses on writing and working as an independent teacher, encouraging engagement with the challenges of the spiritual life.

Martin lives in York with his wife Kathleen.
